VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) offers free tax preparation for individuals and families with tax opportunities for students. From<span style=\"color: #c70000\"> 4 to 5 p.m.<\/span> in Room 212\/214 of the Westside Campus Center.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity to meet with the local Danbury chapter and hear about the program as well as volunteer opportunities (great for Accounting Majors!) VITA \u00a0is a program that offers free tax help to low-income individuals, providing students with hands-on experience in tax preparation. Volunteering with VITA is valuable for students as it enhances their practical accounting skills, builds their resumes, and fosters a sense of community service. It also offers an opportunity to network with professionals while making a tangible difference for those in need.
