This hike is limited to 25 people, open to all WCSU students, faculty, and staff. Note that transportation is not provided and encourage carpooling. Limited carpooling from the Midtown campus police station is leaving at <span style=\"color: #c70000\">2:30 p.m.<\/span> sharp that afternoon, please contact <a href=\"mailto:tarbet002@wcsu.edu\">tarbet002@wcsu.edu<\/a> for remaining seats before Friday evening (10\/18).<\/p>\n<p>Please RSVP and fill out a waiver form before attending Saturday. This form can also be found on our Wolves Connect home page.<\/p>\n<p>Tarrywile Park:\u00a041.38078, -73.45383<\/p>\n<p>What to wear:<\/p>\n<p>Footwear with grippy soles<br \/>\nShorts\/pants appropriate for hiking<br \/>\nhat\/gloves<\/p>\n<p>What to consider:<\/p>\n<p>Snack\/something to eat<br \/>\nFirst aid kit<\/p>\n<p>What to avoid:<\/p>\n<p>Cotton. It kills. It does not wick moisture and it does not dry<\/p>\n<p>What to bring:<\/p>\n<p>Small backpack\/day pack<br \/>\nWater<br \/>\nLong sleeve shirt\/light sweatshirt\/layers to regulate sweating<br \/>\nWindbreaker<\/p>\n<p>Words of advice:<\/p>\n<p>Avoid sweating by managing your layers while hiking. The ground may be wet or slippery. Flat-soled shoes are guaranteed to have you on your rear end. Leave them home. Dress appropriately for November.<\/p>\n<p>Leave No Trace.
