This event is being organized by Wally\u2019s Cupboard, the Black Social Workers&#8217; Association (BSWA), and supported by Library Services and the Department of Social Work.<\/p>\n<p>More than 500,000 people experience homelessness every night in America. <em>Lead Me Home<\/em>\u00a0is a documentary short that tells a few of these real-life stories giving the audience a rare, in-depth look at the scale, scope, and diversity of what it means to be unsheltered today while calling into question uninformed attitudes and outmoded policies.<\/p>\n<p>This event will feature a discussion moderated by social work professor Dr. Sharon Young, as well as introductory remarks\u00a0from Gabriela Torres (BSWA) and concluding remarks from social work student Jennifer Dreisacker (Renewal House).<\/p>\n<p>All attendees will be entered in a raffle!
