Please use the coordinates below so we can all meet at the same place, we&#8217;ll start hiking at <span style=\"color: #c70000\">10 a.m.<\/span>, and are estimated to end at around 11:45 a.m. This event is open to all WCSU students, staff, and faculty. If you wish to carpool, email <a href=\"mailto:peschier001@wcsu.edu\">peschier001@wcsu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please use these coordinates for the parking lot: 41.543141, -73.40856<\/p>\n<p>What to wear:<\/p>\n<p>Footwear with grippy soles<br \/>\nShorts\/pants appropriate for hiking<br \/>\nhat\/gloves<\/p>\n<p>What to consider:<\/p>\n<p>Snack\/something to eat<br \/>\nFirst aid kit<\/p>\n<p>What to avoid:<\/p>\n<p>Cotton. It kills. It does not wick moisture and it does not dry<\/p>\n<p>What to bring:<\/p>\n<p>Small backpack\/day pack<br \/>\nWater<br \/>\nLong sleeve shirt\/light sweatshirt\/layers to regulate sweating<br \/>\nWindbreaker<\/p>\n<p>Words of advice:<\/p>\n<p>Avoid sweating by managing your layers while hiking.<br \/>\nThe ground may be wet or slippery. Flat-soled shoes are guaranteed to have you on your rear end. Leave them home. Dress appropriately for November.<\/p>\n<p>Leave No Trace.
