During the presentation, LFI will discuss ways community organizations can become more authentically inclusive of people with disabilities, not only in terms of physical access but in planning and programming and ensuring people with disabilities&#8217; voices are at the table and heard. LFI will discuss topics such as Disability History and Pride, Ableism, Inclusion, Belonging, and steps toward making your organization more inclusive. Our services also include technical assistance, follow up and accountability after training as organizations and professionals journey to become more inclusive.<\/p>\n<p>During this session you will learn about:<\/p>\n<p>Disability History and Pride<br \/>\nAbleism<br \/>\nLanguage and Accessibility<br \/>\nInclusion Scale<br \/>\nCreating space for belonging<\/p>\n<p>Who should attend? We want to connect with organizations, companies, businesses, and non-profits that serve the community. Individuals that are a part of an organization, committee, or board that can create access for people with disabilities, this training is a good introduction to creating inclusive spaces.
