Members of the community who are uninsured, underinsured or at risk of housing instability are welcome to attend the free event. The event is open to individuals aged 18 years and older. Mission Health Day is an opportunity for those in need to access complimentary services, including health screenings and social supports.<\/span><\/p>\n<article class=\"styles_Section__card__4Uoov\">\n<div class=\"styles_HTMLContent__LDG2k\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Essential healthcare and resources will include:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"styles_HTMLContent__LDG2k\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">General health assessments and screenings with time to consult a medical provider<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Basic point-of-care testing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Diabetes screenings and educational resources<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Referrals to primary care providers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Screening mammogram referrals<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Podiatry screenings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Mental health and substance abuse screenings with referral options<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Insurance enrollment assistance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Vaccinations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">In addition to these health services, attendees will receive free personal care packages, winter clothing and haircuts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Mission Health Day is made possible thanks to the generous contributions from the New American Dream Foundation, Western Connecticut State University, the City of Danbury and dedicated community organizations, volunteers and donors.
