For more information, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/westconnathletics.com\/\">https:\/\/westconnathletics.com\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Western Connecticut State University\u00a0women&#8217;s lacrosse team, coached by\u00a0<dfn><a href=\"https:\/\/westconnathletics.com\/sports\/womens-lacrosse\/roster\/coaches\/rachael-griffith\/721\" rel=\"smarttag\" rev=\"721\">Rachael Griffith<\/a><\/dfn>\u00a0(3rd Season), has qualified for the Little East Conference (LEC) Championship Tournament for the 25th time and the 17th\u00a0year in a row. Defending LEC Champion WestConn\u00a0is the top in the six-team field, having won the regular season crown with a perfect 8-0 record in conference play,\u00a0and has earned a bye into the semifinal round when the Wolves will host either the Plymouth State University Panthers or the University of Massachusetts-Boston Beacons\u00a0on Thursday, April 30 at 3:30 p.m. The Wolves finished the 2025 regular season with a 13-3 overall record, its seventh full season of double digit victories in a row, and dominated league opponents with seven double-digit victories and an eight win by seven goals.\u00a0 Admission on Thursday is free and the game will be followed by an\u00a0LEC Men&#8217;s Lacrosse Semifinal game\u00a0at 7\u00a0p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WESTCONN WOMEN\u2019S LACROSSE IN THE LEC SEMI-FINALS: The top-ranked Wolves will play in the LEC Semi-Finals at 3:30 p.m. at the Westside Athletic Complex.
