Ebola Advisory

While the risk of contracting Ebola infection in the United States remains extremely unlikely, the Centers for Disease Control has asked all universities to communicate with faculty, staff and students about the outbreak.

For students, if you or any family members have visited the West African countries of Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, or Nigeria within the past 21 days, please contact the WCSU Student Health Service at (203) 837-8594 for a brief screening and health monitoring instructions.

A brief verbal assessment of your risk of Ebola contact will be performed and you will be given instructions on how to monitor your health and what to do should you become ill.

Faculty and staff should contact their primary medical provider or public health department for assistance. For additional information about Ebola, visit the Centers for Disease Control site at http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/
