{"id":20,"date":"2017-12-20T19:58:41","date_gmt":"2017-12-20T19:58:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/healthservices\/internationalstudents\/"},"modified":"2017-12-22T16:19:11","modified_gmt":"2017-12-22T16:19:11","slug":"international-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/healthservices\/international-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Medical Guidelines For International Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<p><strong>The Connecticut State University System Health Form must be completed entirely.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Part E of the CSU health form must be completed by your medical provider. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>An examination done within one year prior to entering the University will be accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The following immunizations are required by Connecticut law for all<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>students born after 12\/31\/1956:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MEASLES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two measles or two MMR (one must be after your 1st birthday and one at least one month later) and after 1\/1\/1969<\/li>\n<li>2nd dose must be after 1\/1\/1980<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rubella:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two rubella or two MMR immunizations (one must be \u00a0after 1st birthday)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Varicella:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two immunizations required<\/li>\n<li>EXEMPT if born in the USA before 1\/1\/1980<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mumps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two mumps or two MMR immunizations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The actual lab results of positive titers (blood test) may be submitted in lieu of the immunizations<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Certification of confirmed cases of measles, mumps, rubella &amp; varicella by a licensed health care provider may be submitted in lieu of the above.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Connecticut State University System Health Form must be completed entirely.
