The Spring 2026 CSU Making History Conference of the CSU History Departments will be held at WCSU on Friday, April 10<\/strong> on our midtown campus in White Hall: 181 White Street, Danbury. The goal of the conference is to promote CSU student research, to further academic exchange among our departments, and to celebrate our common interest in history. This conference began in 2015 at Southern and rotates around the four campuses building our academic community and providing intellectual opportunities for our students.<\/span><\/div>\n

The faculty of the four CSU History Departments invite undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and recent alumni from any of the four CSU History Departments to submit proposals for papers, panels, or roundtable discussions.<\/span><\/div>\n

Proposals are due by March 6, 2026<\/b>, and may be emailed to Prof. Kate Allocco (alloccok@wcsu.edu<\/a>). Please include \u201cCSU Making History Conference\u201d in the subject line.<\/span><\/div>\n

The conference will be held in White Hall<\/strong> on the midtown campus located at the corner of 5th Ave and White St.<\/span><\/div>\n
Please check in in White Hall Room 127<\/strong> between 8:30-9:15 am.<\/span><\/div>\n
Park in the on-campus 5th Ave Garage at the corner of 5th Ave and Osborne.<\/span><\/div>\n
White Hall is very close, at the corner of 5th<\/sup> Ave and White St.<\/span><\/div>\n
The GPS address for the parking garage is 1-35 5th Ave Garage Danbury, CT. Do not<\/span> park in any of the surface lots.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
