Admission Process<\/h1>\n

Incoming First Year Students <\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

High-performing first-year undergraduate applicants to WCSU will be considered automatically for admission to the Kathwari Honors Program. Please refer to the admission requirements below. All applications are reviewed by the WCSU Admissions Office for acceptance both to WCSU and to the Kathwari Honors Program. Only applications received by February 1 will be considered for Honors admission.<\/span><\/p>\n

Admission to the Kathwari Honors Program is highly competitive. If admitted, you will receive an invitation to join the Kathwari Honors Program via mail and via the email you provided and will be asked to respond to us to confirm your acceptance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants who do not receive notification of acceptance into the Kathwari Honors Program by February 15th may send a direct online application<\/a> that will be reviewed by the Director of the program. Direct applicants are not eligible for Honors Scholarships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that scholarships are not offered directly through the program. Acceptance into the program will not necessarily mean that you are guaranteed to receive a scholarship. In addition, only incoming students may be eligible for scholarships. The scholarship program is administered by the WCSU Admissions Office. Current WCSU Students<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Current students may apply to the Kathwari Honors Program at anytime before the second semester of their junior year. Decisions on applications submitted during a semester will be made after the end of the semester.<\/span><\/p>\n

Transfers<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

Transfer sophomores or juniors applying to WestConn may apply for Honors admission upon transferring to WestConn. A separate application<\/a> is required and submitted directly to the Kathwari Honors Program. Your Honors application will be reviewed once you have been admitted to the University by Admissions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note: Students who were accepted to the Kathwari Honors Program as incoming first-year students but chose to attend another school and are now transferring to WCSU will not automatically be admitted to the Honors Program. They must reapply.<\/span><\/p>\n
