They are subject to change without notice. They do not indicate that each type of space is available. All assignments to specific room types are made at the sole discretion of the Housing &amp; Residence Life office.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Housing Deposit &#8211; $250.00 per year. Those students are also required to formally check out with the resident director of their building before they will be considered withdrawn.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a need to cancel your Housing Contract for any reason, yet <strong>remain enrolled<\/strong> at WCSU, you must make a written request\u00a0to do so. Students who enroll for t<strong>he academic year<\/strong> in housing may cancel their contract prior to <strong>June 30th<\/strong> without penalty.\u00a0 After June 30th, the cancellation request will be reviewed by a committee to determine if you will be released from your contract, or will remain responsible for the room and full payment.<\/p>\n<p>Students who enroll beginning with the <strong>spring<\/strong> semester will have until <strong>December 1st<\/strong> to cancel their contract without penalty.\u00a0 Again, after December 1st, the cancellation request will be reviewed by a committee to determine if you will be released from your contract.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Students who request cancellation after the first day of classes, if they are approved for cancellation, will receive a pro-rated refund for their meal plan.\u00a0 However, there is no refund for housing costs when a student cancels housing after the start of classes.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Please see the <a href=\"http:\/\/wcsu.edu\/housing\/ylhcontract\/\">information on the year-long contract<\/a> for complete details of how this contract impacts you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board of Regents Withdrawal Policies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Housing Deposit is a Non-Refundable deposit.<\/p>\n<p>Upon withdrawal from the University, the housing refund will mirror the University refund policy for tuition and fees as such:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% refund, less the housing deposit, for withdrawal up to, but not including the first day of University-wide classes as defined by the published university calendar.<\/li>\n<li>90% of the balance, less the housing deposit, will be refunded during the first week of university-wide classes.<\/li>\n<li>60% of the balance, less the housing deposit, will be refunded during the second week of university-wide classes.<\/li>\n<li>40% of the balance, less the housing deposit, will be refunded during the third and fourth weeks of university-wide classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon withdrawal from University Housing but remaining enrolled:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to and including June 30,\u00a0 100% of the housing charges, less the housing deposit, will be removed from the student\u2019s account.<\/li>\n<li>No refunds for students who withdraw from housing but remain enrolled on or after July 1 (academic year) or December 1 (spring term \u2013 for those students who plan to enter housing for the first time in spring), unless otherwise approved through the Housing Contract Cancellation policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pursuant to <strong>Board of Regents Policy<\/strong>, <strong>BR 16-069<\/strong>, students who have their Housing Contract cancelled for judicial\/disciplinary reasons will be responsible for paying for the duration of the semester in which their contract was cancelled and are not entitled to a refund.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\"><b><em>Food Service Fee<\/em><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0;margin-bottom: 0\">Meal plans are refundable, on a prorated basis, upon withdrawal from university housing or the University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025 &#8211; 2026 Per Semester Costs\u00a0 The room rates that are reflected below are those which have been approved for the 2025 &#8211; 2026 year.
