{"id":519,"date":"2022-10-31T14:07:36","date_gmt":"2022-10-31T14:07:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/judicial-affairs\/?page_id=519"},"modified":"2026-03-17T17:43:45","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T17:43:45","slug":"students-and-staff-filing-a-disciplinary-complaint","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/judicial-affairs\/students-and-staff-filing-a-disciplinary-complaint\/","title":{"rendered":"Students and Staff filing a Disciplinary Complaint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Staff Administrators:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are experiencing a difficult, non-compliant student in an administrative office or on campus, you should report the student to your supervisor with detailed information.\u00a0 Date, time, location, and specifics of the incident.<\/li>\n<li>The supervisor of the department should try and meet with the student to diffuse the situation and let the student know that the behavior will not be permitted.\u00a0 This conversation should happen in an area away from other students.<\/li>\n<li>If the student is still non-compliant, you can ask the student to leave and call the University Police if the student doesn\u2019t comply.\u00a0 In addition, you can fill out the Behavior Causing Concern in the administrative office form <a href=\"https:\/\/westconn.tfaforms.net\/186\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you do file a Behavior Causing Concern in an Administrative Office form, the Director of Judicial Affairs will keep you updated on the disciplinary process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you need to file a report regarding another student allegedly violating the Student Code of Conduct, please use the Statement Report form\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/judicial-affairs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/173\/2023\/04\/Statement-Report-Form-remediated2.pdf\">Statement Report Form (PDF)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/westconn.tfaforms.net\/314\">Statement Report Form (Online)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Please know that you can\u2019t be anonymous.\u00a0 Any student accused of violating the Student Code of Conduct has a right to know who their accuser is.<\/li>\n<li>If you do file a statement report, the Director of Judicial Affairs will keep you updated on the disciplinary process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Administrators: If you are experiencing a difficult, non-compliant student in an administrative office or on campus, you should report the student to your supervisor with detailed information.\u00a0 Date, time, location, and specifics of the incident.
