Danny Gray is an award-winning composer who harnesses the power of music as a storytelling tool across all media.<\/p>\n

With over a decade of experience in film and media scoring, his work is heard daily in documentary and factual shows worldwide. He has contributed music to over fifteen hundred episodes of major network television. Recent and ongoing credits include Dateline <\/em>(NBC), 20\/20<\/em> (ABC), The Genetic Detective<\/em> (ABC), The Aquarium<\/em> (Animal Planet), and the EMMY\u00ae-nominated series Penguin Town<\/em> (Netflix).<\/p>\n

Danny\u2019s music for the independent feature film\u00a0One Penny<\/em>\u00a0was nominated for Best Original Score at the 2017 World Music and Independent Film Festival. His music has accompanied films at major festivals including South by Southwest, FanTasia, and the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. He served on the music team for the Suncoast EMMY\u00ae-winning documentary\u00a0Seize & Secure: The Battle for La Fi\u00e8re<\/em>\u00a0(as orchestrator) and the forthcoming documentary\u00a0Devil Put the Coal in the Ground<\/em>\u00a0(as composer assistant).<\/p>\n

Beyond film and television scoring, Danny has composed concert music and live installation soundtracks utilizing orchestra, choir, dance, and interactive media. His music has been commissioned and premiered by ensembles including the Chelsea Symphony, Australian Boys Choir, and Manhattan Choral Ensemble, and has accompanied theme park attractions and holiday lights shows throughout North America.<\/p>\n

Danny is a graduate of the Purchase College Conservatory of Music, and has studied film and media scoring at NYU and USC. He is a Board Member of the Society of Composers & Lyricists (SCL) and the director of the SCL New York Mentorship Program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
