She will answer  questions and sign books after the reading.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Aug. 3: <\/strong>M.F.A. alumni <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctpost.com\/news\/article\/Adding-diversity-to-young-adult-novels-6043373.php\">Jessica  McCadden<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brianthiem.com\/\">Brian Thiem<\/a> will read  from their recent thesis books at 7 p.m. at Tarrywile Mansion, 70 Southern Blvd.  in Danbury. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, Aug. 4:<\/strong> M.F.A. mentor and WCSU Professor of Writing,  Linguistics and the Creative Process <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcfarlandbooks.com\/book-2.php?id=978-0-7864-9967-0\">Dr. Edward  Hagan<\/a> will read from his recent memoir, \u201cTo Vietnam in Vain,\u201d and M.F.A.  alumnus Brian Lance will read from his thesis novel at 7 p.m. at Tarrywile  Mansion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Aug. 5: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lesliejamison.com\/author\/\">Jamison<\/a>,  winner of the 2015 Housatonic Book Award for Nonfiction, will read from \u201cThe  Empathy Exams,\u201d answer questions and sign books at 7 p.m. in Room 218 of the WCSU  Westside Classroom Building.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Aug. 6:<\/strong> M.F.A. alumni and mentors <a href=\"http:\/\/www.janecleland.com\/\">Jane Cleland<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/scottmcneight.com\/sample-page\/\">Scott McNeight<\/a> will  read from their recently published work in Room 218 of the WCSU Westside Classroom  Building.      Following the reading, all M.F.A. alumni who have published  books will be acknowledged at a reception and book signing.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The readings  offer the Danbury community an opportunity to hear fiction, nonfiction,  screenplay and poetry readings by nationally renowned authors, many of whom  serve as writers in residence or writing mentors of the university\u2019s M.F.A. in  Professional Writing program.
