The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the President\u2019s Reception Room 218 of the university\u2019s Classroom Building on the Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. <\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will be based on the book \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/greatonthejob.com\/\">Great on the Job: What to Say, How to Say it. The Secrets of Getting Ahead<\/a>,\u201d written by communication expert <a href=\"http:\/\/greatonthejob.com\/about\/jodi-glickman\/\">Jodi Glickman<\/a>. Weber has partnered with Glickman to present lectures and workshops using the \u201cGreat on the Job\u201d strategies. According to the book\u2019s website, \u201cGreat on the Job\u201d takes the art of communicating effectively and turns it into a science. Part of this includes a proven methodology that looks at case studies and applies practical strategies.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>During the event, Weber will role play with the audience and oversee them as they break into groups. Other strategies will include learning to raise a red flag at work, ask for help and share information effectively.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>Weber has held senior human resource positions as well as business roles through her career at Bloomberg, Merrill Lynch, McKinsey and Goldman Sachs.
