Tickets are $20 for the public and $15 for seniors and non-WCSU  students, plus fees. His best-known work, it  was reportedly also his personal favorite. Set in a Mississippi Delta  plantation home, the play examines the relationships among family members of a  wealthy cotton tycoon.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>Professor  of Theatre Arts Trapani said, \u201cThis is a great story and our production really  focuses on the acting. It provides the opportunity for our wonderful actors to  shine in a searing drama of lust, lies, greed and death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The  WCSU cast will include Nicholas Raines, of Brookfield, as Brick; Shaylen  Harger, of Orange, as Maggie; Eric Jagun, of Prospect, as Big Daddy; Alex  Allyn, of Trumbull, as Big Mamma; John Mudgett, of Newtown, as Gooper; Lauren  Bell, of Southbury, as Mae; Howard Powell, of West Haven, as Reverend Tooker;  Ryan J. Taylor, of New Fairfield, as Dr. Baugh; Marisabel Sanchez, of New Haven,  as Lacey; and Shaynanna Grey, of New Haven, as Sookie.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The  crew also includes Pam McDaniel as producer, Frank Herbert as technical  director, Elizabeth Popiel as set designer, Scott Cally as lighting designer,  Irene Thelen as costume designer, Zachary Lowe and Andrew Gusiora as sound  designers, Kori Hansen as technical supervisor, Joni Johns Lerner as costume  supervisor, Claire Gaudette as stage manager, and Theresa Carroll as production  manager.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p \/>&#013;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0\"><\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<p><em>Western Connecticut State University offers outstanding faculty in a range of quality academic programs.
