Performances will be at 3 p.m. on <strong>Friday, July 10; Saturday, July 11; Sunday, July 12; Saturday, July 18; and Sunday, July 19,<\/strong> in the MainStage Theatre of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/svpa\/\">Visual and Performing Arts Center<\/a> on the university\u2019s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One of Dr. Seuss\u2019 best-loved stories, \u201cThe Cat in the Hat\u201d will bring out the childhood imagination for viewers of all ages and is perfect for the whole family.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The WCSU cast includes Howard Powell, of West Haven, as the Cat; Michael Battista, of North Haven, as the Fish (Christina Branfur, of Northford, on July 10); Alexandra Allyn, of Trumbull, as Thing 1; Dan Dressel, of Southbury, as Thing 2 (Kayla Murphy, of Danbury, on July 10); Tomas Ovitt, of New Milford, as the Boy; Jennifer Wilson, of West Haven, as Sally; and Christina Branfur, of Northford, as the Narrator (Dan Dressel on July 10). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/theatrearts\/depotoa.asp\">Anthony DePoto<\/a> will direct.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $7 for children under 12, plus fees.
