\"ImageDANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014The Western Connecticut State University<\/a> Department of Art<\/a> will host a ceramics sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 10 and 11, 2015<\/strong>, in Room 012 of White Hall on the university\u2019s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The public is invited.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Students in Western\u2019s art department will sell their hand-made ceramics products. Thirty-nine students, participating in two ceramics classes, have produced a variety of functioning, non-toxic wares \u2014 namely plates and bowls \u2014 perfect for the holidays. Some of the pieces are made with pigmented clays, while others are glazed. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The ceramics are priced between $5 and $25. Money raised will be used to purchase supplies for the art department\u2019s ceramics program.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A tour of the art studio will be available to all who visit the sale.<\/p>\n
