DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 Discover how to let your inner charm shine through and touch others by attending \u201cCharm School\u201d opening tomorrow at Western Connecticut State University<\/a>. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The production will run at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8<\/strong>; 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9<\/strong>; and 2 and 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012<\/strong>. All shows will be in the Reimold Theatre in Berkshire Hall on Western\u2019s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. Tickets are $10 for general admission and free for WCSU students with valid student I.D. High school students can attend the Nov. 8 performance for free. Tickets can be purchased by calling (203) 837-TIXX or at www.wcsu.edu\/tickets.<\/p>\n

This cabaret-styled performance will include songs such as \u201cI Want to Be Bad,\u201d \u201cRespectability,\u201d \u201cThe Seven Deadly Virtues\u201d and \u201cMaybe My Baby Loves Me.\u201d The production is a musical revue with an interwoven story that connects central concepts and themes. <\/p>\n

Amy Jones, director and choreographer, said, \u201cIt\u2019s been a truly wonderful challenge to incorporate this music by iconic musical composers into a fun and entertaining story.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Set in a reform school, \u201cCharm School\u201d depicts a matron and the unrefined students she\u2019s determined to show the error of their ways and the true charms they possess. Will the matron finally teach the boys how to impress a true lady and will the girls learn to at last behave with grace?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The cast features Jordan Andrews, of Fairfield; Margaret Buzak, of Bethel; Melanie Capparelli, of Poughquag, N.Y.; Carly Hodosi, of Shelton; Kristina Johnson, of Bristol; Kera Lalli, of Stamford; Kimberly Lustig, of Madison; Aimee M\u2019sadoques, of Waterbury; Anna Morse, of Chesire; Victoria Rojas, of Danbury; Mick Gloss, of Stratford; Kezia Waters, of Waterbury; Michael Hoey, of Naugatuck; and Tyler Caisse, of Wolcott.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The crew includes Jones, Pamela McDaniel as producer, Frank Herbert as technical director, Tom Cuffari as musical director, Vincent McCoy as assistant director, Leroy Walton as stage manager, Melissa Ottaviano as costume coordinator and Rachel Fournier as lighting designer.<\/p>\n
