DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 Western Connecticut State University<\/span><\/a> has released its <\/span>Midtown Coffeehouse<\/a> schedule for fall 2014. The Coffeehouse will feature a weekly 8 p.m. open mic, followed at 9 p.m. by a feature act performance, on Thursdays during the fall semester in Alumni Hall on the university\u2019s Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. Admission is free and open to the public, although donations to sustain the Coffeehouse are welcome.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Coffeehouse will begin the semester at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, <\/strong>with a \u201cNight of a cappella,\u201d featuring WCSU\u2019s all-male group The Parallel Fifths<\/a>, the female group Martini Glass<\/a>, and the ensemble singers of Play It By Ear<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
