DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 After posting an impressive 7-2 season, the WCSU Colonials<\/a> will face Salve Regina University in the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Football Bowl Championships<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The game will kick off against the Seahawks at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013<\/strong>, at Salve Regina University\u2019s Gaudet Field, Newport, R.I.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Western enters Saturday\u2019s competition on a four-game winning streak after defeating Westfield State on Nov. 16 to end the regular season. The Colonials posted a 6-2 record in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Seahawks and Colonials have played four times in the past, most recently in 2004 with Western holding a 4-0 advantage in the series. This is the first time the two teams will meet in the postseason. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This will be the Colonials\u2019 second ECAC Bowl appearance. <\/p>\n
