Workshops will include: <\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tWriting the short story<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tIntroduction to writing poetry<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tAdvanced poetry writing<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tSports writing<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tHuman interest writing<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tScreen writing<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tReading body language<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tPublic speaking<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tSong writing<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tWriting the college admissions essay<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n  \u2022\tCollege interview<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The workshops will be led by published writers and all students will have an opportunity to see their work in print in the 2011 conference journal.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>Tuition for resident students in grades 9 through 12 is $950 and includes a (double) dorm room, a get-acquainted party on Sunday night and breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Tuition for day students, grades 7 through 12, is $550 and includes breakfast and lunch for the week. Registration deadline is June 30 for resident students and July 15 for day students.
