DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 On Thursday, Sept. 5, Staff Sgt. Todd James \u201cT.J.\u201d Lobraico, a member of the New York Air National Guard, was killed in action near Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. Lobraico was a student in the Justice and Law Administration<\/a> program at Western Connecticut State University<\/a>, pursuing a degree in law enforcement. The 22-year-old was on his second deployment.<\/p>\n

Public calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, in the Feldman Arena of the O\u2019Neill Center on the university\u2019s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The funeral will start at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, also in the O\u2019Neill Center. Burial will follow in North Cemetery on Church Road in Sherman.<\/p>\n

NOTE: The family has requested that no video or audio recording equipment be used in the O\u2019Neill Center.
