Walsh<\/a>,  winner of the 2016 Housatonic Book Award for his work of fiction, \u201cMy Sunshine  Away,\u201d will read at 7 p.m. in Room 218 of the Classroom Building on the WCSU  Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Walsh will answer questions  and sign books after the reading.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dwaynebetts.com\/\">Reginald Dwayne Betts<\/a>, winner of the  2016 Housatonic Book Award for his work of poetry, \u201cBastards of the Reagan Era,\u201d  will read at 7 p.m. on <strong>Wednesday, Jan. 4<\/strong>,  in Room 218 of the Classroom Building on the WCSU Westside campus. He will  answer questions and sign books after the reading.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>Former M.F.A. mentor <a href=\"http:\/\/elizabethdcohen.com\/index.html\">Elizabeth Cohen<\/a> will read from  her work at 7 p.m. on <strong>Thursday, Jan. 5<\/strong>,  in Room 218 of the Classroom Building on the university\u2019s Westside campus.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Friday, Jan. 6<\/strong>, M.F.A. mentor <a href=\"https:\/\/libbycudmore.com\/\">Libby  Cudmore<\/a> will read from her work at 7 p.m. in the Washington Room at the  Maron Hotel, 42 Lake Ave.  Extension in Danbury.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>M.F.A. alumni Beth Turley and David  Hayes will read from their work at 7 p.m. on <strong>Saturday, Jan. 7<\/strong>, in Room 218 of the Classroom Building on the WCSU  Westside campus.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The readings are free and open to  the public. In the event of university closure due to weather, all events will  be held at the Maron Hotel.<br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      The readings offer the Danbury community an opportunity to hear fiction,  nonfiction and poetry readings by nationally renowned authors.
