DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 The Lights Up Production Company\u2019s touring show, \u201cMystery the Musical<\/a>\u201d will be performed at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 and 17, 2016<\/strong>, in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall on the Western Connecticut State University<\/a> Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cMystery\u201d tells the story of a family\u2019s quest for buried treasure in Eastern Europe. Characters in the story face many obstacles while embarking on their journey to find the hidden treasure. Secrets are revealed and mysteries are solved on the family\u2019s search for discovery. Struggling with important issues of life, such as tragedy and loss, the characters\u2019 determination is tested on their pursuit. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to the Lights Up Productions website, \u201cMystery\u201d was influenced by the works and lives of C.S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Ravi Zacharias, J.F. Baldwin, G.K. Chesterton, Bram Stoker and more. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Writer, composer and producer Brent Grosvenor and his wife Tami launched Lights Up Productions in 1997. He\u2019s performed his shows more than 800 times in 37 states and several European countries. Grosvenor has written, composed and produced seven original musicals including his latest piece, the suspenseful and thought-provoking \u201cMystery.\u201d<\/p>\n
