These dates include an hour-long planetarium show with basic constellation identification, moon phases and star lore, followed by a two-hour sky observation, weather permitting. During the sky observation, guests will view the seasonal sky through the WCSU Observatory\u2019s 20-inch, computer-controlled Ritchey-Chretien reflector telescope.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free and open to the public; donations to support operations and maintenance of the WCSU Observatory and Planetarium will be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>Feb. 18:<\/strong>\tPlanetarium Show, 5 \u2013 6 p.m.; Sky Observing, 6 \u2013 8 p.m. (Pleiades star cluster, <br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      Orion Nebula)<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>March 3:<\/strong>\tPlanetarium Show, 6 \u2013 7 p.m.; Sky Observing, 7 \u2013 9 p.m. (Pleiades star cluster, <br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      Orion Nebula, waxing gibbous moon, Mars)<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>March 17:<\/strong>\tPlanetarium Show, 7 \u2013 8 p.m.; Sky Observing, 8 \u2013 10 p.m. (Pleiades star cluster, <br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      Orion Nebula, Mars, Mizar and Alcor)<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>Apr. 14: <\/strong>Planetarium Show, 7 \u2013 8 p.m.; Sky Observing, 8 \u2013 10 p.m. (Mars, Mizar and <br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      Alcor, Saturn)<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>Apr. 28: <\/strong>Planetarium Show, 7:30 \u2013 8:30 p.m.; Sky Observing, 8:30 \u2013 10:30 p.m. (moon <br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      near first quarter, Mars, Algieba, Saturn)<\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\t<strong>May 12:<\/strong> \tPlanetarium Show, 8 \u2013 9 p.m.; Sky Observing, 9 \u2013 11 p.m. (Mizar and Alcor, <br \/>&#013;<br \/>\n      Algieba, Saturn) <\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>Public viewings at the WCSU Observatory will be subject to cancellation in the event of cloudy or inclement conditions.
