We share in the shock and grief the nation feels for this kind  of senseless violence and we are concerned about how this will impact our LGBT  community here at Western Connecticut State University. For those  students who are on campus this summer and are struggling to deal with this  tragedy, the Counseling Center will be available to assist them in these  difficult days ahead. If you are aware of a student who may need support,  please encourage them to contact the Counseling Center for an  appointment.\u00a0 The Counseling Center is location in Room 222 of the Midtown  Student Center. Hours are Monday  through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Faculty and staff are reminded that  support is available to them as well through the Employee Assistance  Program.
