DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 For those interested in finding out more about what Western Connecticut State University<\/a> offers, the university will hold an Open House on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Open House will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Feldman Arena at the O\u2019Neill Center on the university\u2019s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Students are encouraged to bring their family members to learn how Western is setting the standard for affordability, location and quality academic programs. Students will be able to meet with faculty and other representatives from WCSU academic programs, student groups and administrative offices. There will also be a complimentary breakfast and tours of both university campuses.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Pre-registration to the event is recommended and can be completed by visiting www.wcsu.edu\/openhouse\/tour-picker.asp<\/a>. Students may sign up for guided tours online or during the in-person registration process on Nov. 2. Please arrive at the O\u2019Neill Center between 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., or 30 minutes prior to a pre-registered guided tour. <\/p>\n

The schedule of events is as follows:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

9:30 a.m. – Early Bird Tours (pre-registered) and check-in.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Check-in continues. Visit academic and administrative booths; meet faculty, students and coaches; enjoy a complimentary breakfast; take one of the campus tours that run every half hour from 9:30 a.m. to noon.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

10:30 a.m. – Tours of Westside campus: this includes the newly opened Visual and Performing Arts Center.<\/p>\n
