Students will audition for ensemble placement at the beginning of the programs, and will work with peers of similar musical abilities under the tutelage of camp faculty members. The programs will culminate in three concerts to showcase what the students have achieved during the programs. <\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The first of the weeklong camps is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/summermusic\/strings.asp\">Summer Strings<\/a> program for string instrument players, running from <strong>July 13 \u2013 19, 2014<\/strong>. The second program, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/summermusic\/band_jazz.asp\">Summer Band<\/a>, runs from <strong>July 20 \u2013 26, 2014,<\/strong> and is tailored to band instrumentalists. Both camps include ensemble practice sessions during the day, camp choir, outdoor sports, movies and performances by faculty members. Students have the option of commuting to campus each day or residing in one of the university residence halls. <\/p>\n<p>&#013;<\/p>\n<p>The student concerts will be free and the public is invited.
