\"ImageDANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 The Western Connecticut State University<\/a> women\u2019s swimming & diving team<\/a> will host \u201cSwim Strong for Shaun,\u201d a swim-a-thon to raise funds to support the Stand Strong for Shaun Fund, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014<\/strong>, in the O\u2019Neill Center Natatorium on the university\u2019s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Shaun Bailey<\/a> is an assistant coach with the WCSU women\u2019s soccer team<\/a> who has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The community is invited to support a WCSU swimmer or diver by pledging a flat donation of $5. For a $10 donation, supporters can join the team in the pool. <\/p>\n
