DANBURY, CONN. <\/strong>\u2014 The Western Connecticut State University<\/a> Women\u2019s Basketball Tip-Off Breakfast, the biggest annual fundraiser for the women\u2019s basketball team, will be at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013,<\/strong> in the Ballroom of the Westside Campus Center on the university\u2019s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The fundraiser starts off the new season, and there will be bidding on raffle prizes and silent auction items. There will be no admission charge, but participants will be encouraged to make \u201ctip\u201d donations. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cIt allows us to operate the program at the level that the student-athletes deserve,\u201d said WCSU Head Women\u2019s Basketball Coach Kim Rybczyk<\/a>. \u201cAnd it allows us to thank our supporters, parents, staff and alumni for all of their dedication to the program.\u201d<\/p>\n
