Orientation for New Students (Freshmen) is designed to assist incoming students as they acclimate to college life at Western Connecticut State University. During your Orientation students and families will learn about resources that support student success, receive academic advisement information, and their class schedule. Students will learn how to get involved on campus and connect with current students and future classmates. Each fun-filled session is informative, helpful and full of WCSU spirit!<\/p>\n
Prepare for your Orientation:<\/p>\n
1) Be sure you have submitted your Admission\/Housing deposit.<\/a> 2) Make sure you setup your WCSU Account by following the steps here:\u00a0 New Students:\u00a0 Set-Up Your WCSU Account<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n 3) After June 1 submit your photo for your WCSU ID – Submit your photo for your ID ahead of time and pick up your WCSU ID card at Orientation\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/a>Click here to get started!<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n 4) Submit your WCSU Health Form.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n There are a number of hotels that are only about 10-15 minutes away from WCSU.<\/p>\n Midtown campus:<\/strong><\/p>\n Westside campus:<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Click here<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for direction to WCSU from local airports and additional travel information.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n New Student Program:<\/strong> Making the transition from high school to college can have its challenges.
