10:00am – 11:30am – Westside Campus Center Ballroom (additional seating available on the South Plaza and Campus Center Loft)

Breakfast and Welcome Remarks with special student performances

11:30am – 12:00pm – Westside Campus Observatory

Planetarium Show! Join us in the Westside Campus Observatory for a 30-minute, live tour of the September night sky. Check-in at 11:15am. Show begins promptly at 11:30am. *Must reserve a spot, max capacity is 40.

To reserve your spot, please submit the Parents and Family Day Planetarium Ticket form. *Planetarium Show is sold out as of 8/7/2026. Any requests moving forward will go on a waitlist.

Football, Westside Athletic Complex – *By registering for and attending Parents and Family Day, you’ll receive complimentary tickets to the football game! Parents and Family Day wristband will provide access to the stadium.

WestConn Parents and Family Day Give Back

We are encouraging families attending Parents and Family Day to donate to Wally’s Cupboard, our on campus food pantry, to help make sure students in need have access to free and healthy food options. By making a donation, your student will be entered in a raffle to win a WCSU Bookstore book voucher for up to $500* for the upcoming spring 2027 term. Make donation by purchasing items directly from the Amazon Wish List. Please send confirmation of your donation to parents@wcsu.edu. 

 *The book voucher is non-transferable and can only be used to purchase/rent required textbooks available through the WCSU Bookstore. The book voucher will cover the cost of purchasing/renting required textbooks up to $500. Please note, book vouchers count as a financial resource to the books/supplies component of the cost of education budget and in some instances may affect or be affected by a student’s financial aid offer.
