David Capps received his PhD in philosophy from University of Connecticut and MFA in poetry from Southern Connecticut State University. His research concerns topics in analytic epistemology and the interactions between philosophy and poetics. He has two books forthcoming. The first, Love Through Literature: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Love and Friendship <\/em>(Kendall Hunt Press) is an introductory textbook. The second, Poems from the
\nFirst Voyage <\/em>(The Nasiona Press), is a chapbook of poems based on the first voyage of Christopher Columbus. Recently his poems have been featured in Peacock Journal, Mantra Review, Cagibi, among others. His most recent philosophy paper, \u201cLiminality and Bachelardian Space in Herbert Mason\u2019s Gilgamesh<\/em>\u201d appeared in the Winter 2018 issue of Language, Literature, and Interdisciplinary Studies<\/em>: http:\/\/ellids.com\/archives\/2018\/12\/2.2-Capps.pdf<\/a> When David is not thinking about various stuff he is an avid violinist and chess player.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
