How is it possible to meet the needs of people today without harming the planet or future generations? Sustainability is the project of creating this balance. It is by nature an interdisciplinary project, involving economics (business), ecology (science), and ethics (the humanities). The need to create a sustainable world is one of the great challenges of the 21st century, and a minor in sustainability will empower you to respond to this challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minor in Sustainability<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A minor in sustainability requires 18 credits, including HUM 222 Sustainability: Economics, Ecology, Ethics (3), and 15 more credits derived from the following elective courses. No more than 9 credits in this minor may be taken within a student\u2019s major.<\/span><\/p>\n
