{"id":90,"date":"2021-06-24T16:50:50","date_gmt":"2021-06-24T16:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/pridecenter\/?page_id=90"},"modified":"2021-06-24T17:25:14","modified_gmt":"2021-06-24T17:25:14","slug":"gender-neutral-housing","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/pridecenter\/gender-neutral-housing\/","title":{"rendered":"WCSU Gender Neutral Housing"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>WCSU offers all students the option of selecting gender neutral housing.\u00a0 Gender neutral housing refers to a housing option in which two or more students mutually agree to share a multiple-occupancy bedroom, suite, or apartment without regard to the gender of the occupants.<\/p>\n<p>Gender-neutral housing is an option for any continuing student wishing to choose their roommate(s) regardless of gender, and live in rooms, suites and apartments without a gender designation. Only students who choose to live in gender-neutral assignments will be assigned to these spaces.\u00a0 Gender Neutral Housing is not exclusive to LGBTQ+ students.\u00a0 Housing &amp; Residence Life will, however, work with transgender and non-binary students, including freshmen, on an individual basis to find suitable accommodations.<\/p>\n<p>Students may select gender-neutral rooms, suites, and apartments if they have selected to participate in Gender-Neutral Housing when asked in their Student Housing Application.
