WestConnduit allows you to: access class schedules; grades; your unofficial transcript; conduct a degree audit; check Financial Aid information; register online; check your advisor and registration date, plus much more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"subTitle\"><strong>To log into Banner Web<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open a web browser and go to <a href=\"http:\/\/westconnduit.wcsu.edu\">westconnduit.wcsu.edu<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Click on the <strong>Banner (my info)<\/strong> icon.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/99\/2017\/10\/online_clip_image002.jpg\" width=\"498\" height=\"265\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Your username is the same as your WestConn username (ex: jones013).<\/li>\n<li>Your password is the same as your WestConn password. <strong>Note<\/strong>: this password expires every 60 days.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Login<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It\u2019s as easy as that. If you\u2019ve forgotten your WestConn password, or your password has expired, you can reset it by clicking on the <strong><em>Click here to reset your password<\/em><\/strong> link, or via <a href=\"http:\/\/wcsu.edu\/password\">http:\/\/wcsu.edu\/password<\/a> . If you do not have a WestConn computer account, you will need to visit one of the staffed computer centers for assistance. However, if you are registered for only online courses and live a distance from the school, please call 203.837.8467 for information on obtaining an account.\u00a0 The staffed computer centers are located:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Midtown Computer Center (Ruth Haas Library, main level)<\/li>\n<li>Student Center Computer Center (Student Center, Room 225)<\/li>\n<li>Westside Computer Center (Westside Classroom Building, Room 117)<\/li>\n<li>Campus Center Computer Center (Westside Campus Center, 2nd floor)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"title\">Accessing Blackboard Learn for Online Instruction<\/p>\n<p>Western is currently using Blackboard Learn as its online course management system. Some courses are online only, some hybrid (online and in-person meetings), and some are \u201ctraditional\u201d in-person courses.\u00a0 Although traditional courses are in-person, some classes may have material posted in the online environment. \u00a0Please check with your instructor.\u00a0 Just as with on-ground classes, the work required to complete an online course varies by course.\u00a0 The advantage of an online course is that you have greater flexibility in accessing your course work.\u00a0 There&#8217;s no driving to campus, no parking hassles, and you can work around your life&#8217;s events.\u00a0 Online classes, however, do require time management skills and discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Blackboard Learn uses your Western account credentials to gain access. Inquiries about accounts and other related IT services can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/support.wcsu.edu\/\">https:\/\/support.wcsu.edu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Open a web browser, and go to <a href=\"https:\/\/wcsu.blackboard.com\">https:\/\/wcsu.blackboard.com<\/a>. The following screen will appear:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/99\/2019\/05\/bb.png\" width=\"331\" height=\"222\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Enter your Username and Password, and click <strong>Login<\/strong>. Your username and password uses the same log on credentials as your WestConn\/Windows account. If your password has expired or you need to reset your password, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/wcsu.edu\/password\">https:\/\/wcsu.edu\/password<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"inlineheader\">My Institution page\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is your \u201chome\u201d page. The main WCSU tab will list all of your courses.\u00a0 Note: not all courses may be populated with information -this is at the discretion of the instructor.\u00a0 The main WCSU tab will also list other information &#8211; and the Global Navigation menu will give you quick access to items:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/99\/2017\/10\/online_clip_image005.jpg\" width=\"636\" height=\"49\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Most \u00a0\u2018modules\u2019 on the <em>MY WCSU<\/em> sub tab may be collapsed, modified, or moved \u2013 while some are required and cannot be changed. You can customize this page by clicking on the Add Module button, or personalize this page by clicking on the Personalize Page button. Note: The <em>Notifications Dashboard<\/em> sub tab will give you information about assignments, announcements, etc. from your courses.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/99\/2017\/10\/online_clip_image008.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"48\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"inlineheader\">Accessing My Course<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/99\/2017\/10\/online_clip_image010.jpg\" width=\"19\" height=\"19\" \/>Click on your course title link in the <strong><em>Course List<\/em><\/strong> module. You can modify your display settings by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the module.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inlineheader\">Logging out of Blackboard Learn<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/99\/2017\/10\/online_clip_image013.jpg\" width=\"194\" height=\"34\" \/>Click the <strong>Logout<\/strong> button in the top right of your screen.
