KANUNGO AWARD:<\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0JASMINE GREY<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Annapurna Kanungo Award was established in memory of the wife of <\/span>Dr. Kalpataru Kanungo, WCSU professor emeritus, who was a biology faculty <\/span>member for more than 22 years. This is given as an award during honors <\/span>convocation to a graduating senior who attended WCSU for a minimum of <\/span>two consecutive years, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and who is chosen by the <\/span>faculty of the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n

MOST PR<\/b><\/em>OMISING BIOLOGY MAJOR AWARD:<\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/b>JACOB\u00a0<\/b>M.\u00a0<\/b>BETHIN<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This award is given to an early-career biology major who has completed <\/span>a minimum of six credits in biology courses at WCSU, with a GPA of at least <\/span>3.0. The award is based on academic performance, involvement with the <\/span>department, and overall evidence of promise. This award requires a nomination <\/span>by a biology faculty member. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
