COMPUTER SCIENCE FACULTY AWARD:<\/em>\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>ELIOT\u00a0GRIFFIN<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>This award supports the empower<\/span>ment of women pursuing a career<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in the field of computing (a vital\u00a0<\/span>facet of the STEM industry) and <\/span>awarded to a graduating under<\/span>graduate in Computer Science or<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Applied Computing. Awarded reci<\/span>pients are selected based on their <\/span>outstanding achievements in scholars<\/span>hip, leadership experiences, and <\/span>significant contributions to student life and\/<\/span>or community service at Western <\/span>Connecticut State University.\u00a0Furthermore\u00a0highlighting<\/span> their aptitude, tenacity <\/span>in the face of gender barriers to access, and aspirations in the field of computing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
