JOHN EICHRODT PRIZE:<\/em>\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>JOHN C. RILEY<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The John Eichrodt Prize honors the memory of the late Professor John <\/span>Eichrodt, a member of the English Department, who was particularly well known <\/span>for his critical acumen. The award is given for the best critical paper submitted <\/span>by an undergraduate student during the school year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

JOHN TUFTS PRIZE:\u00a0 <\/b><\/em>ALLISON M. MONTAGUE<\/b>\u00a0&<\/strong>\u00a0JEFFREY A. GRASSO<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This prize was established in memory of Professor John Tufts, who was <\/span>instrumental in establishing awards for student writing in the English <\/span>Department. The prize is given for the best writing submitted to the English <\/span>Department during the academic year.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MOST PROMISING UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLAR:\u00a0 <\/b><\/em>JEFFREY A. GRASSO<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

This award recognizes the most promising student in the B.A. in English program.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
