This award honors Gloria Brunell, a longtime member of the Mathematics <\/span>Department and former dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. The award <\/span>is given to a student who shows talent in mathematics and shares Dr. Brunell\u2019s <\/span>belief that mathematics is both an art and a science.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
