{"id":7,"date":"2017-09-19T16:36:28","date_gmt":"2017-09-19T16:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/sigma-xi\/2015-conference\/abstract\/"},"modified":"2020-01-09T18:52:44","modified_gmt":"2020-01-09T18:52:44","slug":"abstract","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/sigma-xi\/2015-conference\/abstract\/","title":{"rendered":"Abstracts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"infoAlert\">Abstract submissions deadline is February 28, 2020<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract submission guidelines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One abstract should be submitted for each presenting group.<\/li>\n<li>A <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">primary presenter<\/span> should be designated to submit the abstract, but include the names of all presenters (where appropriate).<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts should be no more than 400 words in length and should contain the following sections: <em>Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions. <\/em><\/li>\n<li>In addition, please include the 1) title of the project, 2) the Institution&#8217;s name, 3) the primary field (Life Sciences; Physical Sciences; Earth and Planetary Sciences; Behavioral Sciences; Engineering, Applied Math, and Scientific Computing; Computer Sciences and Information Systems; Interdisciplinary Research; Math and Science Education; Other (specify)), and confirmation that the research advisor has reviewed\/approved the abstract before being submitted.<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts will be reviewed and acceptance indicated by email.<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts must be submitted for review NO LATER THAN February 28, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts must be submitted to Dr. Helena Prieto at <a href=\"mailto:prietoj@wcsu.edu\">prietoj@wcsu.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Abstract submissions deadline is February 28, 2020 Abstract submission guidelines: One abstract should be submitted for each presenting group.
