{"id":12,"date":"2017-09-20T17:23:45","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T17:23:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wcsu.wpengine.com\/summer\/nonmatric\/"},"modified":"2025-03-12T12:50:56","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T12:50:56","slug":"nonmatric","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/summer\/nonmatric\/","title":{"rendered":"Non-Matriculated\/Visiting Students"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<p><strong>Students from other institutions:<\/strong> *<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You must meet all appropriate WCSU course registration criteria prior to taking the course.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to transfer the course from WCSU to another institution, you must get approval from that institution prior to registering for the course.<\/li>\n<li>Once you are registered for the course you will be given\/mailed a course schedule which includes your student ID number, and a copy of your bill.<\/li>\n<li>Contact one of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/iti\/computers\/\"> Computer Centers<\/a> for your student computer account.<\/li>\n<li>Pay online (using your computer account), or submit a check via mail, or contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/cashiers\/\">Cashier&#8217;s Office<\/a> for further instructions.<\/li>\n<li>After you have completed the WCSU course, request an official transcript be sent to your university.\u00a0 Click <span class=\"style4\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/registrar\/forms\/\">here<\/a><\/span> to request a transcript.<span class=\"style4\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/span> If you are a high school student, you will need to get permission from the Director of Admissions to take the course.\u00a0 Email your request to <a href=\"mailto:Admissions@wcsu.edu\"> Admissions@wcsu.edu<\/a>.\u00a0 Be sure to include the course name, course number, CRN, and the number of credits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The opening day of registration for non-matriculated students may be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/registrar\/important-dates\"> www.wcsu.edu\/registrar\/important-dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>* While not required, it is useful to have a copy of your transcript with you to assist in advisement and prerequisite verification as one selects\u00a0 their Summer classes.\u00a0 A transcript <\/em><b><em>is <\/em><\/b><em>required if you are taking\u00a0 a class that needs a prerequisite. You may email an unofficial transcript to <a href=\"mailto:RequestRegistrar@wcsu.edu\"> RequestRegistrar@wcsu.edu<\/a> with the registration form.\u00a0 You must have a C or better in the prerequisite course.
