Bolan has also worked in film &amp; television as an actor, director and producer with recent credits including the critically acclaimed and award-winning Netflix Original Documentary, <i><\/i><\/span><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">A Secret Love<\/span><\/i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">, based on a member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League made famous by Penny Marshall\u2019s classic film, <i><\/i><\/span><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">A League of Their Own<\/span><\/i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">. <i><\/i><\/span><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">A Secret Love<\/span><\/i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"> was an official selection of the 2020 SXSW Film Festival and was produced by Ryan Murphy Productions, Blumhouse\u00a0Television, NowThis, and Beech Hill Films. <i><\/i><\/span><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">A Secret Love <\/span><\/i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">received nominations from the Critics\u2019 Choice Awards for Best Director (First Feature Documentary) and Best Documentary Feature as well as a nomination for a Dorian Award for best LGBTQ Documentary and won the AARP Movies for Grownups Award for Best Documentary. Bolan was also the recipient of the Jerome Foundation Emerging Artists Award for directing.\u00a0In 2016 Bolan was Artistic Director for the critically acclaimed European Premiere production of <i><\/i><\/span><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">Oh Hell No! <\/span><\/i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">at the Alfo Puccini Theater in Milan, Italy and has directed legendary LGBTQ and Civil Rights Activist, David\u00a0Mixner, in three World Premiere productions at the Florence Gould Theater in NYC.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:0,&quot;335551620&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\"><span class=\"eop\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\"><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\">Bolan is Founding Partner of Sweet T Productions with recent projects including <i><\/i><\/span><i>The Sound Inside <\/i>(Broadway\/Studio 54) starring Mary-Louise Parker, <i><\/i><i>The Visitor<\/i><\/span><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"> (The Public Theater) starring David Hyde Pierce, Jitney (Broadway National Tour), and <i><\/i><\/span><i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">Endlings <\/span><\/i><span xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">(New York Theater Workshop).
