Michael Bartoli\u00a0<\/b>(Adjunct Professor)\u00a0<\/em>is an actor, singer and acting coach trained in various theatrical disciplines.\u00a0\u00a0He holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University and an MFA in Classical Acting from The Shakespeare Theatre Company\u2019s Academy for Classical Acting at\u00a0GWU.\u00a0There he appeared in rep productions of\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Pericles<\/span><\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Women Beware Women<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2018 Michael appeared Off-Broadway in\u00a0<\/i><\/span>A Letter to Harvey Milk,\u00a0<\/span><\/i>as Harvey and can be heard on the original cast recording.\u00a0\u00a0Other roles include an equity guest artist appearance as Dorsey in WCSU\u2019s award winning production of <\/i><\/span>Parade<\/span><\/i>\u00b8 as\u00a0well as roles in\u00a0<\/i><\/span>Hamlet<\/span><\/i>\u00a0(Round Table Theatre Company) and\u00a0<\/i><\/span>The Seagull\u00a0<\/span><\/i>(Wandering Bark Theatre Company),\u00a0<\/i><\/span>A\u00a0Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u00a0<\/span><\/i>and\u00a0<\/i><\/span>King Lear\u00a0<\/span><\/i>(Shakespeare NYC), several other Off-Broadway and regional credits and the national tour of <\/i><\/span>Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Michael also conceived and developed two one-man shows,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Come\u00a0On\u00a0and\u00a0Hear\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/span>and<\/i><\/span>\u00a0I\u2019m\u00a0Old Fashioned<\/i>, celebrating the Great American Songbook, which have been presented in various cabaret venues and for various cruise lines.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Of all his work in the theatre, Michael loves teaching most and has been on faculty at Western Connecticut State, Manhattanville College, and The City College of New York teaching acting, musical theatre, and voice and diction. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
