Anthony Depoto<\/strong> (Adjunct Professor)\u00a0<\/em>is a native of Danbury, CT, Anthony graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 2009 with a B.A. in Performance. While there, Anthony appeared in three Off-Broadway shows and in 2007\u00a0performed\u00a0Romeo and Juliet\u00a0<\/em>at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.\u00a0 In May of 2012, he received his M.F.A. in Acting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.\u00a0 Anthony has also performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in Mary Zimmerman\u2019s version of\u00a0The Odyssey<\/em>\u00a0as well as other television on film credits.\u00a0 Anthony has also worked in the Education departments of Hartford Stage, The Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, and Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut.<\/p>\n Anthony\u00a0is the co-founder of ERA Productions based in Bethel, CT along with being the former Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 1 Chair of the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship.\u00a0\u00a0Anthony\u00a0is the founder and Artistic Director of \u201cinnerAct Theatre L.L.C.\u201d based in Sandy Hook, CT, which is a traveling theatre education company that works with students K-12, businesses, sports teams, and boards of education.<\/p>\n
