Oliver Wason<\/strong>\u00a0(Design\/Technology Coordinator, Assistant Professor, Lighting Design, Design Fundamentals, Technical Theatre)<\/em> is a designer and educator who is equally at home working in theater, opera, dance, music, or anything in between.<\/p>\n New York work includes\u00a0Let\u2019s Call Her Patty\u00a0<\/em>(LCT3 \u2013 Lincoln Center Theatre),\u00a0ONCE UPON A [korean] TIME, The Chinese Lady, Among the Dead, House Rules<\/em>\u00a0(Ma-Yi Theatre Company);\u00a0The Pen\u00a0<\/em>(Inner Voices),\u00a0Sagittarius Ponderosa\u00a0<\/em>(NAATCO);\u00a0Wonderland<\/em>\u00a0(Atlantic).<\/p>\n Oliver\u2019s work in opera includes numerous productions with Heartbeat Opera, where he is an associate artist, including\u00a0Butterfly, Carmen, Lucia di Lammermoor, Lady M, Kafka Fragments,\u00a0<\/em>and their recent production of\u00a0Fidelio\u00a0<\/em>at Met Live Arts which toured nationally. Other opera work includes\u00a0Empty the House<\/em>\u00a0(Curtis Opera);\u00a0Erismena<\/em>\u00a0(Yale Baroque Opera);\u00a0Agrippina<\/em>\u00a0(Juilliard Opera)<\/p>\n Regional credits include shows at Signature Theatre, Indiana Rep, Barrington Stage, Berkeley Rep, Yale Rep, Berkshire Theater Festival, Playmakers Rep, and Triad Stage.<\/p>\n Oliver was the associate designer for\u00a0A Doll\u2019s House, Part 2<\/em>\u00a0on Broadway, and designed the Chinese Premiere of\u00a0Stones in His Pockets<\/em>\u00a0at the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center. \u00a0Prior to WCSU, Oliver taught for six years at Northeastern University in Boston.
