There are many ways for prospective students to figure out if WCSU’s Theatre Arts program is the right fit!<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Attend a show! \u00a0Prospective students and parents can be our guest to any of the shows that we produce. Our productions range from large-scale musicals, Shakespeare, as well as both classic and contemporary dramas and comedies. To check out the current Theatre Arts Season, click here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Schedule a \u201cShadow Day\u201d! Prospective students for the BFA Theatre Arts and BA Theatre Arts programs have the ability to sit-in on classes right here on campus. \u00a0Shadow classes include acting, costume technology, theatre management, history, or design\/tech. In addition to classes, students on a \u201cshadow day\u201d can take a tour through our 98 million dollar facility. \u00a0You\u2019ll get to see our state of the art performance venues, rehearsal rooms, computer labs, scenic arts and crafts rooms, and costume and scene shops. In addition to all of the above, there\u2019s always plenty of time on a \u201cshadow day\u201d to get to know current students and discover if WCSU is the right fit for you. NOTE: \u201cShadow Days\u201d can be scheduled for any student interested in the BFA Theatre Arts – Acting, Design\/Tech, Stage Management or the BA in Theatre Arts degree programs. \u00a0If you are a prospective BFA Musical Theatre student, \u201cShadow Days\u201d are limited to students who have successfully made it through the audition pre-screen, and have either been accepted or waitlisted into the BFA Musical Theatre program.<\/li>\n
  3. Email a professor! \u00a0There\u2019s no better way to get to know WCSU than to have a conversation with one of our fabulous and hands-on professors. \u00a0Shoot an email to a professor in your area of interest, and let them know you\u2019d like to learn more about Theatre Arts at WCSU! \u00a0A full list of our faculty with contact info can be found here!<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

All high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend this free event<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span>At Super Sunday, you will get a look at our facilities including our state-of-the-art 98-million dollar\u00a0<\/span>Visual and Performing Art Center<\/span><\/a>, take workshops with our esteemed faculty in your area of interest, get to know our current students, and see a matinee of our mainstage musical Legally Blonde: The Musical <\/i><\/b><\/span>for free!
