Undocumented Student Support Services<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Western Connecticut State University is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, including undocumented students. \u00a0In these uncertain times, undocumented students, who often face barriers and challenges as they navigate campus policies, require support services that address their unique needs. \u00a0As such, the University’s Office of Diversity and Equity as well as the Office of Intercultural Affairs have partnered with other WCSU departments and allies to increase institutional support for undocumented students. Ultimately, WCSU strives to provide resources and guidance to support the advancement of undocumented students during their academic time on campus.<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u201cWe are extremely proud of our students \u2014they are doing everything we expect them to do as engaged young people\u00a0<\/span>pursuing their dreams of higher education. The fundamental responsibility of a public education institution is to foster\u00a0<\/span>learning, innovation, and strong communities to any student willing to put in the work to learn and achieve. We have\u00a0<\/span>and will continue to fight for DACA students in our CSCU community. We stand with Connecticut\u2019s DACA students and\u00a0<\/span>those across this country and urge Congress to finally take action to protect these young Americans.\u201d \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n
